    Hi, I purchased a domain in January : weirdpanda.blog . Since then I deleted the site it was on and would like to use the domain again to create a site. I can see that it is in my purchases but when I try to link it to my new site it says that it is already registered to a site. Since I have paid for it for a year, I assume I can use to make a wordpress.com website?

    So yes you can use the domain , if you want to use it with WordPress.com you can use it on a website you create , also to inform you will have to be subscribed to a Paid plan to be able to use your custom Domain, you can just buy a Plan and map your domain the website, you want to use it for.

    You cancelled that domain on 9 February. By clicking Cancel, you indicated that you no longer wish to own the domain.

    I should still be able to restore the domain for you, but you’ll first need to create a new WordPress.com site in your account to which I can connect the domain. Please use this link to create a new site:

    Once you’ve done this, let me know the site’s free address, and I can move the domain over to that site for you.
