Domain accessability in China

  Hi guys, currently looking to set up a website, but will be moving to mainland China in the near future. Just need to know if this will cause any issues, connecting and maintaining my site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can access WordPress.com from anywhere. It’s a user-friendly platform. You should only keep one thing in your mind.

  Most of the people activate the two-step verification and when they migrate to a different country the phone number doesn’t remain active and they face a problem.

  You should your number updated. The rest is fine. You won’t face any kind of problem.

  Hi there,

  We do not prevent access to WordPress.com based on location, but the Chinese government is known to regulate internet traffic into and out of the country. So from our end everything will work, but you may have issues with accessing your site or WordPress.com as a whole if your ISP or the government is blocking your access.

  Thanks for the replies guys.

  Excellent that I won’t have any issues your end, just looking for confirmation that China-end won’t be an issue. Is there any way to check this beforehand?

  @quizician984529491 we can’t make any guarantees here, since things could vary based on where you are and what not. If you know someone who lives where you’re going, you might ask them whether they’re able to access it.
