  Hi there, can you tell us a bit more about what you are trying to set up? This is a connection you are trying to make with blog.admissions.ucla.edu or fallopenhouse.admission.ucla.edu? If you try these steps for connecting an external subdomain to your WordPress.com site does it work as expected? https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-subdomain/#if-the-domain-is-registered-elsewhere

  Also I’m not sure what link you are referring to but if you can share the URL of the broken link, as well as the URL of the page that you were on when trying to click the link, we’re happy to take a closer look.
