Domain already mapped

  I created a blog – ambigramartwork.wordpress.com and mapped it to a WP purchased domain http://www.ambigramartwork.com. This was fine. Then i deleted the blog as i thought of hosting it on my own.
  So when i wanted to make the same blog, i couldn’t (which WP site mentions)
  So i created a NEW blog – ambigramartworks.wordpress.com.
  Now when i tried to map my EXISTING UNUSED domain to this blog, i get
  “This domain has already been mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”
  What should i do?
  I dont want to let go of my domain name…but i want to use this blog.
  Can the Support people please allow me to map my existing domain to my new blog.
  Please help.

  Were you able to redirect it to the new blog? I would like to do the same thing but can’t figure out how and I get the same automatic reply when I try to use the domain name in my new WordPress blog.

  Since it’s the Friday of a long weekend, I wouldn’t expect a reply before Monday.
