Domain already mapped
-
SO….. I’m taking over running the site for my company. The previous clown they had in this position (yes it’s for a circus)(not really), had them set up with 4 domains on two separate hosting services. Several WP accounts, etc.
I’ve got control of his gmail, his godaddy (the host) and have just paid for a new premium WP account, but i’m getting the domain already mapped. GoDaddy is seeing the same thing, but they can’t find where it is mapped to. I need to get control of our site. Any suggestions on how I can find the information for the person who has mapped our domain to a WP account?
I need the WP username at least or how I can petition to get control transferred back to us as we own the domain.
The site is rysonroofing.com

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
