Domain and Billing Support
-
Hello,
I just updated my WordPress account to the premium package for $99.00, but I believe I’ve been overcharged by around $30.00 or so. The purpose of updating was so I could get my own domain. While registering the domain (after upgrading) the charge amount was $0.00, however after clicking to confirm, I was redirected to a page that showed I was being charged $26.00, then more for a privacy setting. Is it possible for someone to take a look at my account and confirm I’ve been charged the correct amount? I would greatly appreciate it.
I’m also having trouble with the domain I purchased. My blog site is jenniferleighg.wordpress.com and I purchased jenniferleighg.com, but I’m being shown an error message stating the server cannot be found when I try to view the site. I went through the prompts of making the new domain primary. I’ve read where it can take up to 48 hours if you’re using a domain registered elsewhere and mapping, but I’m unable to find any articles regarding a timeframe for domains purchased directly from WordPress.
Thank you so much, in advance, for any help you can offer.

Hi Jennifer,
I’m so sorry about the hiccup. I have provided you a full refund for the $26 as the domain is included in the Premium bundle. Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to show up in your bank account.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Hello gracejiyoung,
I’m checking on the status of this refund, I know you mentioned it could take up to one week for me to receive it, but it’s now a little over two weeks and I have yet to see the $26.00 credited to my bank account.
Thank you so much for any assistance you can offer!

Please ignore my previous comment. I just finished taking a closer look and see the $26.00 was actually credited back the next day, on the 4th.
I apologize for the confusion. Thank you!
