Domain and Blog Name

I have been trying to sign up for a Word Press Blog for months and never got the confirmation email until today. I originally signed up using (Email Removed By T3CK,) so today I tried (Email Removed By T3CK,) and it worked. Now the domain and blog name I need are locked up. How do I get them released?

You need to contact staff at http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ with all the details, and never put your email address in a public forum unless you want to be flooded with spam emails.

God forbid! When you say they’re “locked up” what do you mean by that? Using that username and email and password, you should be able to sign in and start blogging.

Nobody in the forums will be able to do that. You’d need to ask staff directly at http://support.wordpress.com/contact and you’d need to give a good reason, not just “I changed my mind.”
