Domain and host

  Hello,
  I want to purchase a theme for my blog. I don’t have a host or set domain yet. I am wondering if i purchase this theme under my current account (@theglamshack) and start editing it, if I am able to go into it and add my host and domain later or if I am better to start with my host and domain information then start editing. Thanks!

  Hi –

  There are 2 versions of WordPress.

  When working on WordPress.com hosted sites (here) you will choose a theme from the showcase at wordpress.com/themes/ This theme isn’t able to be transferred outside of WordPress.com.

  Installing the WordPress software and use a hosting company is the other WordPress option. This option is much more hands on as you are responsible for all site upgrades and fixes. There is not a designated support staff to help with this either. Help is available through the community at wordpress.org/support/
