Domain and hosting

  I’m building a site in WP which will take my on domain that is a .com ,
  then I will migrate the site to my current host telenet.be : 1- Do I still have to pay WP after? 2-How do I edit my site after? 3-It will remain a WP site? 4-Do host afect visibility ? Which host you recommended?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  From your question, I believe that you are going to create a website with a .com domain and change the domain to telnet.be later. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

  Now the answers,

  Do I still have to pay WP after?

  Yes, You need to pay for the plan even after changing the domain name.

  How do I edit my site after?

  You can edit the site, as you do now by logging into WordPress.com dashboard.

  It will remain a WP site?

  Yes, Even if you change the domain name, the site is still hosted in WordPress.com.

  Do host afect visibility

  No, Whatever your domain is, it will be visible if the domain settings are correct.

  Thank you for your reply.

  I will create a site within WP but take the domain which I own for 20 years which is .com and migrate the site to keep it in my current host telenet.be

  this is my specific situation and my question is

  1-If even so, I will need still to pay yearly to WP?

  2- How do I get to update my site, currently I have my software ( Everweb) and do the updates via Fizila from my desktop but as I’m advised to change to WP I’m looking forward to having clarity in the process before I change
