Hi there,
Why do I need to pay for hosting through you?
Hosting your site with WordPress.com is free. However, to use your domain with WordPress.com, you will need a connection subscription which is part of a paid plan.
I am assuming that it is wordpress.
Yes, WordPress.com is a managed hosting platform. You would need to change the domain nameservers at Bluehost, and point them over to WordPress.com. Our nameservers are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThen, you’ll need to purchase the connection subscription upgrade as a part of a paid plan to connect your domain to your WordPress.com site.
The Personal Plan, in particular, is a great introductory plan. In addition to allowing domain connection to your site, The plan also provide no ads, additional media library space, support via email, and more
For instructions the connection process, please visit our support page:

Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
