Domain and Hosting Issues with www.thegantrymusic.com

    I use Bluehost to host http://www.thegantrymusic.com and redirect though the bluehose DNS.
    I get the following error… FYI – My domain is registered with Wild West Domains…

    Network Error (dns_server_failure)

    Your request could not be processed because an error occurred contacting the DNS server.
    The DNS server may be temporarily unavailable, or there could be a network problem.

    For assistance, contact your network support team.

    I see that you are talking about your self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site.

    Hi there,

    It looks like your domain doesn’t have an A record set. That means your domain doesn’t have an IP address telling browsers which site to load at that domain.

    As your domain’s name servers are pointing to Bluehost, it means your DNS is handled by them, and you will have to contact Bluehost support to fix it. While your domain is registered with us, we have no control over the DNS records for your domain.

    WordPress.com is a reseller for Wild West Domains, and the OP’s domain is registered with us.

    The self-hosted forums also won’t be able to help with this issue, as it’s not a problem with the WordPress software, it’s a problem with the domain. For domain-related issues it’s best to refer the user to their hosting provider, or their domain registrar instead.
