domain and hosting not by WordPress

  Can i build a WordPress site, using a domain I already own from GoDaddy, and host it with hosting I already own via BlueHost? If so, does it cost me anything annually to have the WordPress site?

  You can, and you won’t need to use WordPress.com services or plans. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

  Head to WordPress.org instead to get the free software. Some hosts have installers to use as well. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
