domain and moving to wordpress.org

  So I want to move my scruffy-duck.net blog on wordpress.com (scruffyducknet) to a self hosted wordpress blog, and I have to domain pointing upgrade and I’m a little confused as to what I need to do about that. When I move everything over, do I just need to ask you to remove this so that the domain will simply show up my new self hosted blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there, When your site is set up on the new server, you can unmap your site here at WordPress.com.

  In your Dashboard, you would click Store → My Upgrades and cancel your Domain Mapping.

  Does it take long? I mean I’ve done it, but it’s still trying to send it to my wordpress.com blog.

  Hello! It can take up to 72-hours for mapping changes to take effect. When I visit scruffy-duck.net/, I am now taken to your self-hosted site. All looks to be working well. Can you confirm? Or let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks so much!
