Domain and plugins

  Good Morning,

  I have created a site on WordPress called artinfographic.wordpress.com.
  I have registered a domain called http://www.artinfographic.com with Afrihost.

  I am on a youtube video (Tyler Moore) saying that I have to add the domain to the wp dashboard …. but I don’t know how to access it! Apparently, once the domain is registered with a host, the site can go live free of charge (Responsive website), but I don’t know how to change my address from artinfographic.wordpress.com to http://www.artinfographic.com ….

  Also, I would like to add a plug-in, but on the side panel, it doesn’t allow for me to add a plug in …

  A little frustrated – maybe if I can be directed to my dashboard/admin page, I can figure some of it out …. ? A little frustrated ….

  Is there any computer guru who can help this confused person out here, by any chance … please?

  you want domain mapping for $13.-/yr to use your custom domain name

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Note – DO NOT – delete the base blog you are using now – domain mapping adds a new name on top of the existing blog URL – the site linked to my name is domain mapped if you want to see how it works

  you can not use third party plugin’s here – there are many built in plugin’s – they are called Widgets and short code – a bad plugin can crash a whole site – so that is why no plugin’s here
