Domain and Theme

    Hi, I am looking at creating a wedding website. I am not interested in having huge traffic, more just a few family members and friends to look at it.
    We have purchased a Domain name and a WordPress theme. Can anyone recommend if the WordPress beginner would be sufficient for the website? Am I able to upload a purchased theme onto the beginner or would I need to purchase the premium?

    You can’t upload purchased themes on a WordPress.com site, I’m afraid. You basically have two options:

    1. If you want to use a WordPress.com site, you’ll have to pick a theme from the available ones in theme directory (some are free, some are paid), or

    2. If you want to use the theme you already purchased, you’ll have to host/maintain your own site with WordPress software, available from WordPress.org
