Domain and website issue using WordPress and bluest

Hello I recently bought the creator version of WordPress and my domain on WordPress as well. After completing that purchase I knew I needed a host and decided on blue host. I made sure to confirm my domain that I bought on that site as well, so the two would be connected. However, when I opened WordPress the new domain I bought went to an old free version WordPress website I had… instead of my new upcoming site . If I click on my domain/site it takes me to the old site instead of my new “coming soon”. Im not sure what I need to do to ensure everything jives or if there is something I am missing. Thankyou for any help or assistance!

Don’t know if you were aware, but if you bought the Creator Plan from WordPress.com it includes hosting. No need to go to Bluehost. I did something similar just last week. I bought the Creator Plan and then bought the domain along with hosting from Bluehost. I had all kinds of issues. Bluehost kept trying to point fingers at WordPress being the problem. Once I became aware that the Creator Plan had hosting with it, I made the decision to cancel my hosting subscription with Buehost and got my refund. I did lose my domain since I had it registered with Bluehost. I bought another domain from WordPress and all my issues have gone away. JEverything works great. Hope this helps you

This made so much sense. I misunderstood what they meant by WordPress and bluest working together. I was unaware that it is downloaded for free not another payment.
