Domain and WordPress.org – Help!

    I made my first blog and bought a domain through WordPress.com a few days ago, and I didn’t realize -until now- that I can’t use any affiliate programs and/or Google Adsense on my blog. I do understand -I think- that I CAN do this if I change to WordPress.org… how much will that cost me? And what do I need to do to get going with the process of switching from the blog I have now, and paid domain, to this “different version” of Wordpess? Please help!
