Domain annual expiry
-
I just purchased a domain from wordpress today on 21 July 2015 and paid the annual fee. It now says it expires on 20 June 2016, which is only 11 months from now not 12. Is this a mistake? Otherwise why does my annual fee only cover 11 months? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will get your full 12 months – all auto renewals are set for 30 days before they expire so if something goes wrong you have time to address the problem so you don’t have a break in service – with domain registration & domain mapping it is very important not to have a break in service since access to your blog would stop

Thanks. I guess that makes sense, but I don’t know why they would say it actually expired on that day, rather than it expires a month later and they will remind me 30 days before. I assume when I renew next July, I will get the full 12 months 20 July, and not 12 months from the day I click renew, if its a bit earlier than that? This is all new to me.

you will always get your full 12 months – the renewal date in two years will be June 20 – and your expire will be July 21
