Domain Assistance

    Hello,

My domains (kerriasalata.com & kerrisalata.com) were purchased with Domain.com. My website is with WordPress. I pointed the DNS from Domain.com to WordPress. No issues. I’m now having extreme difficulty (many hours with Microsoft Tech people) to get Microsoft 365 Business connected to the domains. We are getting “Error 503” on the Microsoft 365 set up. Can someone please assist?

  • Just to be sure, are you following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/add-email-through-office-365/ ?

If you’re getting the error under those steps, how long ago did you change your domain’s DNS?

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may go to its old location, so that may be what Microsoft is encountering.

If it’s been more than 24 hours, since you have a Business plan, please reach out to our live chat support via https://wordpress.com/help/contact where they’ll have the best tools and access to assist with this.
