Domain associated with wrong account

  Purchased a domain with a third party registrar and set it up to use the wordpress nameservers. However the domain was mistakenly associated with the staging account, and not the live one. How may I disassociate it with the staging account and connect it with the live account?

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  P.S. Tried following the WordPress.com instruction on how to Detach the domain, but there is no Detach link anywhere on the page that it indicates, or anywhere in DNS records area for that domain.
