Domain Authorization Code
-
Hello, It’s been a few days since I initiated the transfer of my domain, alyshaclark.com, to GoDaddy, but I still haven’t received the authorization code from WordPress. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the fact that I cancelled the Premium WordPress Plan I purchased months ago, but I’ve waited out the 60 period for transferring a new domain, and have followed all the right steps, and still no authorization code. It’s only thing I need at this point. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can try re-sending it:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/It’s also possible it got sent to your spam folder; did you check there?
If you re-send it and it still doesn’t show up, add modlook to the tags in the right sidebar to bring this to WordPress.com staff attention.

Thanks bookgirlmn, but no luck.
I can’t do this because I cancelled my wordpress plan, so the domain isn’t even listed under my account:
Log in with the account used to purchase the domain, then you can manage your domain from Domain Management.
It’s still in WordPress’ control, even though I’ve technically paid to own it and have now paid to transfer it. So I just need WordPress to send me the Authorization code (PLEASE!)

I added “modlook” to the page tags, so someone from WordPress.com should see your post and help you.

Hi @alyshaclark, unfortunately you cancelled the domain some time ago. At that point it was returned to the registrar. I’m checking with them to see if we can get it back at this point, and will let you know what we find.

Hi @alyshaclark, we restored the domain alyshaclark.com and it’s now active on your site.
If you have any other questions, please let us know.
