Domain cancelation/aquisition and maping

    Hello.
    Recently I purchased a new domain with godaddy and then tried to map it on my wordpress blog cristinagalalaedotcom.wordpress.com.
    It didn’t work and I canceled my domain with godaddy, planing to purchase it with wordpress.
    However, it doesn’t seem to work… the domain cristinagalalae.com seems to be mapped on my cristinagalalaedot.com account but since the domain doesn’t exist anymore, I can’t really use it…
    I’m a bit confused here and I could really use some help. Thank you

    it takes 24 to 72 hours for domain mapping changes to work – so your cancel early was not good

    for starters cancel the domain mapping – since you don’t have a domain name to map – makes no sense to pay for the mapping –

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades

    Your domain cristinagalalae.com – is in limbo – maybe Godaddy will release it, maybe not – if you really want the name – go back to Godaddy and see if they can retrieve the registration for you – or you can wait and see if the name gets released and you can buy it here – but sometimes others will grab a domain name from you and hold it hostage
