Domain cancellation

  I cancelled my domain name because I didn’t want to pay the 80 dollar late fee. Is there anyway I can find my content and use it with wordpress? Maybe buy a new domain name? Or buy the same one again. I don’t mind that my domain name is in the market for sell, it’s a very rare name. I highly doubt anyone would buy it. Any way I can re purchase it. Thanks for the help!

  Hi audacedestyle,

  You should still be able to access your blog content by going to audacedestyle.wordpress.com. Are you having problems find it in your My Sites page?

  It does sound like your domain audacedestyle.com is now in the redemption period, but I’m unable to see this on its Whois data:
  http://whois.domaintools.com/audacedestyle.com

  I’ll tag this for a Staff follow-up, and they’ll be able to advise you whether it’s still possible to have your domain name renewed.

  Hi there,

  even if your domain expired, you can still see your website at http://audacedestyle.wordpress.com/ and of course, access your site’s Dashboard at any time at http://audacedestyle.wordpress.com/wp-admin/.

  An expired domain falls into a grace period for about 10 to 14 days, during which the domain can be renewed at the regular price. After the grace period ends, your domain enters the redemption period. This means the domain name can still be renewed, but you’ll have to pay additional redemption fee.

  Domain Expiration
