Domain cancellation

    I attempted to cancel and refund my previously incorrect domain name – designjosephpaul.com for which I received a refund for one element, but no evidence of a refund or cancellation confirmation for the domain itself. I have since registered the correct domain.

    Please can support confirm what may have happened here and why I haven’t successfully cancelled the domain/received the full refund?

    What did you mean by one element?

    Did you click the cancellation link on the confirmation email that was sent to the email address associated to your WordPress.com account after you cancelled your domain?

    If you did not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam/junk folder and Social tab if you’re using Gmail.

    Hi Elzrjose, thank you for getting back to me!

    I have found the email in my spam folder and have now clicked the link. I find it odd that the £7 upgrade email came through fine (this was the one element I mentioned) but the domain cancellation didn’t… I requested the cancellation of this domain the same night as registering. Will this still secure a full refund despite the email being missed? I assumed the upgrade cancellation email applied to the entire domain registration.
