Domain Cancellation

  I am trying to cancel my domain registration.

  It says it is only available for 48 hours, and that my account was made 2 days ago and not eligible. Well, 2 days is 48 hours. It was registered October third, and today is the fifth. Who do i contact about cancellation?

  WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

  Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

  Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.   That still wont let me cancel, because it says that its only available for 48 hours yet it says its been ‘2 days’ and wont let me

  I can help you with that domain cancellation. To confirm, are you trying to cancel the domain lucylupublishing.com?

  Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  If you’d like to keep the domain and use it somewhere else, you can transfer it instead: Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  Please confirm that you want to cancel the domain lucylupublishing.com and don’t want to use it here or elsewhere again.
