domain cancellation

  I’ve made a real mess of things.
  First, I got confused between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. I registered a domain with wordpress.com. Realizing I wanted .org instead, I canceled the domain thinking i could immediately re-register. Clearly this is not the case. This all took place in one afternoon.

  Is there anything I can do to recover the domain (kylelindstrom.com)? Thank you, and sorry for the mess.

  Hi there,

  Are you cancelled that domain the same day you bought it, it will be released again within a few days, and you should be able to register it at the provider where you want to use it by the end of next week. If you’re willing to wait a bit, that’s the simplest option here.

  Else we can also restore the domain to your account, and then help you point it to the host where you want to use it – you’ll only be able to transfer it away from us completely once you’ve owned it for at least 60 days.

  Let me know if you’d prefer to restore it right away, and I’ll send you a link to pay for it again, as your payment from yesterday has already been refunded.
