Domain Cancellation

We cancelled the domain, but it’s not showing that it’s cancelled anywhere. There has been no emails indicating it’s been cancelled. We went through the cancellation instructions and it said it was pending cancellation, and it’s been over a week. It’s showing it’s still active. We need it cancelled. We tried to cancel it within the same hour we created it. Please HELP.
