Domain cancellation

  Shortly, after buying a domain on WordPress.com, I came to the realization that a self-hosted site would better suit my needs. I tried to change the name servers to point to my new host (Bluehost), but for some reason, WordPress would default back to its name server every time I went back to the Name Servers page. So, I hastily cancelled my custom domain…which I quickly realized was not that smart. Is there any way I can cancel my cancellation and get some help with changing the name servers? Thanks!

  Hi there,

  I just checked, and your domain sportsdopes.com is still registered. You can manage in under Store > My Domains in your dashboard.

  I’d be happy to help you get the name servers pointed to Bluehost. I updated your domain’s name servers using the information in this guide: Change Name Servers

  It can take up to 72 hours for a change like that to take effect, so if you don’t see the domain pointed to Bluehost right away please don’t worry. If it isn’t pointed there after a few days, though, please let me know so I can take another look at it for you. :)
