domain cancellation, delete blog completely

  I’d like to cancel a custom domain. I’d like to release the domain name in case someone else wants to pick it up in the future. It says to go to store>upgrades>then hit cancel under subscription but cancel is not showing as an option. How can I cancel this domain? I will be deleting the blog all together but also want to release the domain. Thank you for your help

  That’s not possible. Provided you are logged in under the username account that registered the blog you can delete the blog by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  Please note that deleted blog URLs are not recycled.
