Domain certificate
-
Browser identifies my domain hosted at wordpress as possibly fake. It’s happening frequently when friends or even myself try to access davidfmendes.com, my wordpress hosted domais. A message about not being able to identify the domain correctly is issued by the browser, telling people that their online safety might be in risk. Well, not cool! it will send people away. What’s this and how this be avoided?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Are you accessing your site through https://davidfmendes.com? This should only happen if you’re accessing your site through “https” rather than the standard http://davidfmendes.com/ or going to the Dashboard.
Please note that because of the domain mapping, your domain is davidfmendes.com. Secure SSL certificates need to be signed to a specific domain, and browsers look for that domain to match the site you’re viewing. Of course, we can’t provide a new SSL certificate for every mapped domain, so your certificate is signed for WordPress.com.
What happens is that your browser visits davidfmendes.com, but sees the certificate for WordPress.com, and presents the warning to make sure that you trust WordPress.com to handle your connection details, which of course you do. Most browsers will allow you to permanently ignore this notice.
Regular viewers of http://davidfmendes.com/ won’t see the notice. :)
