domain change

  Hi there,
  I cant find what I’m looking for. I’m thinking about moving my domain (housewifejourney.com) to wordpress. But I don’t really understand it. I see there’s a fee to transfer it, ok. I see that there are three different types of domain packages. One of the packages is free, now does that mean that I wont have my domain name as ‘housewifejourney.com’ instead it will be a .wordpress? I don’t understand the packages because your first step out of free is 130$ a year and that is double if not more than most low grade packages? So i don’t understand what the ‘free’ entails when i am transferring my domain to wordpress? please explain the packages to me and how a transfer would work (currently with websitebuilder.com) and if all of the site would automatically migrate and any of the additional settings like domain security would be transferred over?, i am so eager to switch to wordpress when my 60 days have elapsed! I’m not sure why there’s like seven sites attached to my email, so i apologize.
