I have just paid for a new domain, namely https://puppeteerlefrancis.com but my domain still has not changed… what’s up? I’d like a change in my domain name please.

It looks like your domain’s name servers are not pointing to WordPress.com. You will need to update the name servers with your domain registrar.
This is a step by step guide which explains how to do it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/The name servers for WordPress.com are the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMIf you’re not sure how to change them, please contact your domain registrar for assistance.
Once you have updated the name servers, it can take up to 48 hours for the domain to be pointed to your site.If you get stuck at any step, just let me know and I’ll be glad to help, or alternatively you can stag this thread with ‘modlook’ to have Staff assistance. Cheers!

Hello @Stefaniemattana, thank you for your feedback. my problem however is not regarding another domain i previously own, my blog has had the domain puppeteerlefrancis.wordpress.com i recently purchased the domain puppeteerlefrancis.com from wordpress for 18$. Despite this my domain name still has not changed, it is still puppeteerlefrancis.wordpress.com, i have followed up by posting a dispute through my paypal for a money back guarantee, still no reply, how can this issue be resolved?

It’s possible that your website and domain are still not connected to each other because puppeteerlefrancis.com is not pointing correctly to puppeteerlefrancis.wordpress.com. It’s a common problem that may occur when mapping the domain, that’s why I suggested you to double check the procedure to see if you did everything correctly.
As for the PayPal dispute, are you in the process of having a refund, hence to connecting your domain anymore?
If your domain still doesn’t lead to your WordPress blog, you can tag this thread with modlook to alert the Staff that you need assistance. I’m sure they’ll be able to map your domain for you :)

Hello @stefaniemattana thank you for your assistance but my problem has persisted for three days now and still ive not received any staff support.
I have not received a refund for my domain purchase of 18$ and I have also not had my domain name puppeteerlefrancis.wordpress.com changed to puppeteerlefrancis.com.
I have tagged this thread with the modlook tag to request for staff assistance. i have also gone through the link you sent me and i have ascertained that i did in fact pay for the domain puppeteerlefrancis.com 18$ in cash from my paypal a/c. The transaction is marked as a payment to wordpress in my paypal a/c.in essence i dont already have an existing blog or website. puppeteerlefrancis.wordpress.com is my only website, i paid 18$ to wordpress to have my domain changed to puppeteerlefrancis.com, its now four days since i made the payment but still there’s no change, my domain name is still puppeteerlefrancis.wordpress.com that is the problem i want fixed.

I’m so sorry you’re still having troubles with payments and refunds!
You were right by adding the modlook tag – they’re going to get back to you any time sooner. Just please be a little bit more patient as the Staff receive mammoth of requests every hour and they need time to provide a high standard service for every user in needs.
