  I currently own a GoDaddy site, want to switch it to WordPress.

  Hello @southeastpolkrampage,

  You’ll need to map your existing domain to your WordPress site, this requires a Premium or Business WordPress.com plan. Both of these plans come with a free domain credit to either register a new domain or map one that you already own.
