domain change

  hello,

  I bought a domain at strato (germany) and try to configurate it with my wordpress homepage – i already changed the NS-record as wordpress is asking me to do but still it doesn`t work. . . can somebody explain me what kind of mistakes may occur..

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  To better answer your question I’d first like to know, do you have a premium plan with WordPress.com? In order to add or “map” to your WordPress.com homepage you must first upgrade to a premium plan. Each plan comes with one free domain credit.

  Hello,

  I bought the premium version to change the domain. It seems that the problem comes from the fact that I can only change the ns-record at a subdomain and not the domain.
  but the provider is a huge, well-known one so I cant imagine that it doesnt work somehow

  What is the domain URL?

  I just did a search and the name servers for nadjaabt.net show up as shades17.rzone.de and docks04.rzone.de

  Can you please contact the provider where you purchased the domain and double check with them that the name servers have been updated to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM?

  I guessed about the nadjaabt.net domain name because I saw it listed on your account. Please let me know if you’re using a different one! I can check that one as well if you are.

  Once you update the name servers at the company where you purchased the domain, it will take up to a few days for the data to propagate and most often it happens within a few hours. Hopefully you can get it updated soon!

  thanks – i called them now and I have to change the provider. could you recommend one where I can change the nameservers for the main domain`? one, that is working well with wordpress, please

  I really like Hover. I have also used GoDaddy in the past, and I never had any trouble but I have read some bad reviews about them. I know that many people use and like Namecheap as well.
