Domain change

  I’m trying to change my free wordpress domain from sartenniscom.wordpress.com to sartennis.wordpress.com. It keeps popping up that the domain is unavailable but I know it’s available because I only recently deleted my site with the same domain (sartennis.wordpress.com) because I was unaware of the fact that I could import site media to other sites.

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When you deleted sartennis.wordpress.com it was very clearly stated the wordpress.com subdomain would be locked forever. There is no way you could reuse that subdomain. A possible solution is buying a start plan and choose a custom domain.

  It’s important to note that when a site is deleted, it’s permanently removed, and you won’t be able to use its WordPress.com address again.

  However, since you deleted it within our 30-day window, we’re able to recover it for you – and I’ve just done that! 🙂
