Domain change
-
I bought a new domain name and I need to change it for my site. My current domain name is http://www.radfactoryworks.com and I need to change it to http://www.theradfactory.com. I already purchased mapping for the site. How can I switch them out without having to pay mapping again?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Domain mapping is a paid upgrade that costs $13.00 per domain, per year.

Did you map your domain within the last 30 days? If so, you might be able to get a refund for the mapping and apply it to the new domain you purchased
We want you to love everything you do at WordPress.com, so we provide a 30-day refund on all of our upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. You can request a refund yourself directly from the Store -> My Upgrades section of your Dashboard, or contact support to request a refund.

I don’t think you need to refund/rebuy the mapping upgrade, but I’ve tagged this for Staff input to be certain.
You’ll also want to consider purchasing the Site Redirect upgrade (http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/) if you are changing your current domain to something else, otherwise you will have unhappy customers and search engine visitors. Because this is a 301 permanent redirect, for search engines you really don’t need it for more than a year. That gives them time to re-crawl your site and update search returns. If you have a lot of sites who have linked to your current domain, you can contact them directly to update, or continue to renew the redirect.

I had the staff change my other site for me and just let me know it was changed without a problem.

Sorry, your answer is not clear to me.
Do you mean that this issue is resolved or a different issue?
