domain change impact on ealrier posts
-
I changed my domain from audaxdesign.co.uk to audaxdesign.org. All the pictures in my earlier posts retain the former domain, so when viewers click on them they are redirected to a site that someone else has set up which provides links to businesses. The site is run by Sedo and mentions ‘domain parking’. Is there any way I can relabel the pictures to my new domain?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, Thanks for your interest. Here’s a link to one of the posts- try clicking on the picture and you’ll be taken to the site I mentioned. hope you can help! http://audaxdesign.org/category/four-seasons-in-one-day-series-on-climate-change-and-gardening/

Because the media was not attached to the post, the system could not change the URL automatically when you switched domains.
I will see if there is anything that can be done. But I am not positive that there is.

Thanks for looking into this. I noticed that not all pictures on old posts are affected, some being attached to my WordPress address. I wonder if I need yo manually change/edit each post to try and change the picture addresses: not something I’m keen to do!

You may need to do that, I’m afraid.
If you can hang on for a few days, I’ve asked someone to look into if we can help out in any other way. No promises though.

Good news!
We were able to fix all of them except for these three:
https://wordpress.com/post/43781850/560/
https://wordpress.com/post/43781850/28984/
https://wordpress.com/post/43781850/5178/…those will need to be done manually.

Great, seriously impressed! Many thanks for your and anyone else’s help on this. Can you just advise me on how to change the remaining three, please?

You will need to adjust the HTML manually to point to the new domain instead of the old.
