domain changed = domain lost???

  Hello,
  I had a blog called bordersborderless.wordpress.com. I have changed the name to bordersborderlessinfo.wordpress.com. Now I want to open an other blog with the old name: bordersborderless.wordpress.com. But that is apparently not possible?! Have I lost the rights to this domain now? I really need to open this blog, is there a way to do this?
