Domain charge
-
Hi, I migrated my domain from SQUARESPACE and you charged me $19 for it.
Unfortunately, this is not what I wanted to do.
I wanted to build the site as simple as possible, just with Elementor and I ended up here.
How can I roll back the charges and do it the other way, this is not convenient to my client.
Regards
The Domain is http://www.byaservicios.com and my userid is (email visible only to moderators and staff)WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @byaservicios , it looks like the domain transfer hasn’t been fully initiated yet. You can cancel it here if you’d like, then update us so we can make sure it’s cleared.

To clarify, you’d be welcome to build a site with Elementor here if you’d like. Our service includes SSL hosting, direct WordPress support, spam protection, backups, maintenance, security, and other services and features that don’t come with the free software. Extra code can complicate that, so we require the Business Plan for that. But we’ll be here to make it work for you, and provide ongoing maintenance and support for your client.
Or, you are welcome to use your own free copy of WordPress with another host, and use community resources or hired contractors if you don’t have time to take care of security, maintenance, etc. yourself.
Let us know if you have questions!

Thank you SuperNovia…. my client wants to pay just for the domain, doesn’t want to pay for any registration or maintenance.
Now, that’s interesting, can I use Elementor, the basic plan that is free (I use in my other websites the Start Template and that pulls Elementor basic)… Can i do ithe same, where can I find the info to do it.
Another question, if I move to the free WP site, could I use my domain? are the DNS servers the same here as it is in the FREE WP site?

Yes, you can use your domain but that does require a hosting plan.
The good news is that you can easily build a site with out using a third party tool like Elementor. Using a third party plugin like Elementor, requires our business plan. This would allow you to connect the domain and also benefit from all the built in features of managed hosting, and the details that our team handles.
Proceeding with our built in tools, and not worrying about Elementor would provide you some savings. The personal plan would allow you to connect the domain and take advantage of the features that come built in on our managed hosting.

yes, that’s what I thought. My client doesn’t want to spend not even a dollar monthly.
I thought that I could use the domain in the FREE WP and just get the START TEMPLATE and get the basic ELEMENTOR. This content is very simple, just have blocks and a form.

Unfortunately we see time and time again when folks get set up with a bargain hosting option and it ends up a messy situation at best. The site is always having down time, it is slow, security is compromised, there are no back up of their content and so on…
We will be here to help if they change their mind. I’ve included some other helpful resources below.
