Domain charge

  Hi , so I changed my domain months ago now and was nearly sure I deleted my old one but today I got a email to say it automatically renews and I got charged for it but it’s no longer in use.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sorry that you were surprised by a renewal charge and notice today. If, as you said, the renewal took place today, you should still be able to cancel the domain and receive a refund. For information on refunds, and how to request one, please see the following link:

  Please note, you’ll need to take immediate action on this as the refund window for domains is only 48 hours from the purchase. I hope this helps! If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

  Hi glitterfull,

  glitterfulthoughts.com is still active and the domain was set to auto renew, which is why you were recently charged.

  I can cancel the domain for you. However, once a domain has been cancelled there is no guarantee you will be able to get it back again. For this reason we only recommend cancelling glitterfulthoughts.com if you are sure you won’t need it again in the future.

  If you are happy for me to cancel the domain and issue a refund, just reply to confirm you’d like me to go ahead and do so.
