Domain clientTransferProhibited

  I closed my blog in WordPress and I want to move my domain http://www.pacogr.com to another provider, but they tell me that said domain has the status of (clientTransferProhibited) I would like them to remove that state to be able to use it with my current provider.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  If you’re wanting to transfer your domain, you should never cancel it at your current host because once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it. Also, it usually takes a few weeks for your domain registration to clear and become available once you cancel it. There isn’t an exact time, however, so you’ll be checking consistently to see when it becomes available.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore the domain back to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back.

  Hi there,

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore pacogr.com to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.

  I’m happy to report that pacogr.com has now been restored to your account. :) You’re now able to view your site at that domain.
