Domain: com vs org
-
Hi…
I’m starting in word press. When I tried to put the site name in wordpreess.com said no longer available. As he wished to customize my site, registered my domain for rascunho.org – paying.
However, I found the following problem: when I try to put plugins on the panel can not find. because I continue with the address rascunhodotorg (with). How can I resolve this detail. I would like to have support, to use the actual domain that is paid, with all the advantages I get using it.
My English is not the best, but I think you understand.
I wait for help. For attention, thank you.

Your domain mapping to your custom domain is working.
Plug-in’s are not allowed here for security and reliability reasons. What functions did you need?

Thanks “auxclass”
Hi again…
Ok, using better words:
I’m starting in wordpress. When I tried to put the site name in wordpreess.com
it wasn’t available, so I registered my domain as rascunho.org – paying.
I found the following problem: I don’t find the plugin option in the panel. I think its because the dashboard address is rascunhodotorg.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
and not .org. How can I solve this problem?I found another problem: I changed the fonts to ‘Eigerdals’ on custom design (subscribe to), while i’m in the dashboard the blog appears with the new font.. but acessing the blog directly sometimes the font is the old and sometimes its the new one.
How can I do to activate my domain that is rascunho.org
to have access to plugins, etc..
I would like to have support, to use the actual domain that is paid, with all the advantages I get using it.
For attention, thank you.

I don’t find the plugin option in the panel. I think its because the dashboard address is rascunhodotorg.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
and not .org. How can I solve this problem? That has nothing to do with the last characters of the domain name, but rather where the site is hosted.
A site that ends with .org does not necessarily mean it’s a WordPress.org website. The proof of that is that you registered a .org website that is actually hosted by WordPress.com!

Please review the link called “Com vs Org” that auxclass gave you. The first few links within will tell you how to get a WordPress.org blog (at whatever address you want)
