Domain Connection on free plan

  I’ve been tinkering with a new site but can’t figure out if it is possible to add a domain connection to the free plan. Best I can tell is it is not an option on the free plan. I just want to ask the experts to make sure as the free plan is really all I need at the moment.

  A free plan is all you need if you’re happy with a subdomain address that ends in .wordpress.com. If you need to connect a custom domain from elsewhere to a WordPress.com site then the free plan needs upgrading to a paid plan.
