Domain contact
-
The domain upgrade expiration invoice notice is going to the person who formerly setup the site, but who is no longer involved. He forwarded it to me. I have paid the renewal fees. I would like to change the contact on the domain to me, but I cannot because it is private. How can I change the contact so that the future renewal notices will go to me? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is fixable.
However, the crux of the issue is that the account you are posting from is not the owner of the upgrade in question. Without more information, I am not sure if the upgrade is owned by the account of your former web-person or another WordPress.com account that you yourself control.
Do you have another WordPress.com account?

I don’t have any other WordPress account. Yes tcsaugus.org was originally set up by (email visible only to moderators and staff) (i am trying to preserve his privacy), and I would like to transfer it to me. You should have a record of me paying the renewal fees this year and last year.

the upgrade owner needs to initiate the transfer – staff-ozmodiar should be able to either give you a link on instructions to transfer the upgrades or he could email the email address of record for the upgrades – keep in mind that to protect both you and WordPress.COM – the transfer instructions need to come from an owner – else someone else could take your site away from you

The owner is the original purchaser/registrant of the domain, even if someone else pays the yearly fee.
If you have the original owner either contact us via email (help@wordpress.com) or post on this thread, we can transfer the upgrade from the owner to you.
