My domain contact email address is wrong, subsequently I am not receiving my UNLOCK Code. I have changed my email address 5 times, saved changes but my domain contact details remain unchanged when I return to edit my domain. I want my Unlock code for Bruddha.com Can you help? (I would like my contact email address to be (email visible only to moderators and staff) – just in case you are able to change this for me…) Many Many thanks (: Bartholomeus

Hi Bartholomeus,
It appears you’ve never verified the ICANN verification email with the new address. That’s likely why you’re not receiving the code.
I’ve requested the ICANN verification email be resent, it will look like this:
Please verify your email through that process, then attempt the transfer again.
Also, note that if you adjusted contact information other than just your email address, the registrar may have instituted another 60-day transfer lock on the domain. But first let’s try that verification and go from there.

Hi Alex,
Like I said in my original question, the ICANN information on my domain has an old email address that is no longer working on it – I changed that address several times but every time it refers back to the old one – quite frankly it is driving me bananas because I want to confirm that email!!!So if I can’t change that address – and so can’t validate ICANN verification – how am I going to transfer my domain?
Any ideas?

Thanks for clarifying that you no longer have access to the original email that was not verified. That certainly throws a wrench into this issue.
We have a couple options, but let’s discuss them over email for security’s sake.
I’ve sent an email to the address associated with your WordPress.com account (not the old address on the domain.) Please reply there. :)
