Domain created but not accesible

    Hi,

I forgot I already had a wordpress account, and went on the start page to create a new wordpress blog: carolineguillaume2017.wordpress.com
When I entered my email-address, the site told me I already had an account, so I logged in to that account. This way I ended up on my existing blog from a while back.
I wanted to remove that blog, and change the site name to carolineguillaume2017.wordpress.com.
At this point the site told me this site already exists. When going to that site, I notice it’s completely empty, so I think it’s just the one I first tried to create, but now I cannot find it anywhere on my account…
Maybe someone else was just creating the same site at the same time, while I was looking for my password and how to change the site name of my existing account, but that would be a lot of coincidence…
Any help on how I can get to that new site and post things on there?
    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi @carolinelemmens, it sounds like you have multiple accounts. What’s the other site you’re hoping to get rid of, and can you log in as the user who owns it? We’ll help you iron this out.

Hi, the problem solved itself a day later, when I tried to update the site name of the blog I could still access to a third name.
After refreshing, the carolineguillaume2017.wordpress.com site also suddenly appeared in the “my sites” tab…
I guess it was just a matter of refreshing the data somewhere, that got triggered when I changed the site address of the other one :-)
    So problem solved!
    Thanks!

  • No problem, @carolinelemmens . I still suspect you may have multiple accounts, so go to https://wordpress.com/me/account and note the details there. If you have trouble accessing the site again, go back to https://wordpress.com/me/account and check to see which account you’re using. I hope that helps!
