Domain creation failure

  On the initial sign up, I didn’t create a select a domain name. Once I completed developing my blog page, I attempted to link my a domain name to the existing URL. IT FAILED. However, when I search the created domain name in the WordPress reader it comes up. Also, when I got to the ‘coming soon’ page it goes to my blog site but there is an error message ‘site can’t be found on server’. Can anyone help.

  Just to make sure, theforgottenleague.com is the domain you already own, and you’d like to connect it to your new WordPress.com site, is that right?
