Domain disappeared

  I upgraded my plan to a business one to add some plug ins. I was disappointed in it so refunded my subscription, expecting to go back to my Personal Plan. Now I can’t get onto my website, the domain is broken and I can’t find anything. It won’t let me buy the personal plan and it won’t let me access my website. I’m beyond disappointed with WordPress, as they won’t even connect me to a real person.

  You can do all the same stuff with a Business plan as you would be able to do at any other host on the web so perhaps you could help other potential Business plan owners by explaining what caused your disappointment. I have added a modlook tag to ask if a member of staff could assist you.

  I didn’t like that I had to pay for the plug ins I wanted, on top of having to pay for the monthly subscription. Seems like a lot of money for me since I would only use one or two plug ins and nothing else from the business plan.

  I just want my website back to how it was when I was on my personal plan, but right now the site has disappeared and everything is gone. I’ve had to repay for the business subscription so I can have a real human looking at it.

  You purchased another Business plan? Why? If you got completely refunded for the Business plan then why didn’t you just purchase a new Personal plan. That’s far cheaper. You can use plugins on all paid plans these days. Remember that if you get hosting elsewhere if the plugin you need is from a company that charges for them then you’d have to pay for it there too.

  Because I needed to talk to a human who would be able to fix my website. I tried getting my personal back but it didnt work, when everything broke, the only way to get help from WordPress is by being a paying member.

  Since you want to stick to the Personal plan, I canceled and issued a refund for the Business Monthly plan added to your site. You can access the refund receipt in My Profile > Purchases > Billing History.

  Now, healthwisemk.co.uk is back to the Personal plan you have been using since 2017.
