Domain disconnect
-
I was publishing my wordpress blog to a URL (www.faithvsfear.com), but now I want to start fresh and publish to a wordpress URL (wordpress.com/faithvsfear) and then embed it on one of the new pages I’ve built at the URL. I’ve uninstalled wordpress from the URL, but when I log into wordpress directly it still lists that URL as the blog site and when I try to create a new blog at wordpress.com/faithvsfear it says that already exists, but when I try to go to that address it says page not found so I can only assume it exists because I created it and then joined it to my URL.
How can I get my original wordpress address back and completely disconnect it from my URL?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

https://wordpress.com/faithvsfear is not a valid URL
It appears you are referring to http://faithvsfear.com.wordpress.com/Not to worry. Staff will remove the domain mapping for you. I tagged this thread for them to do that. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Hi there,
I removed http://www.faithvsfear.com from your account — that self-hosted blog was linked to your WordPress.com account with Jetpack, so I removed that old connection since the self-hosted blog no longer exists.
However, that’s not related to the existing WordPress.com site here: https://faithvsfear.wordpress.com/
That’s an existing site owned by a different WordPress.com account, so you can’t create a new WordPress.com site at that address. If you created that site, you’ll need to log in to the WordPress.com account you used to create it. Otherwise, you’ll need to choose a different address for your new site here.

It turns out that https://faithvsfear.wordpress.com/ is mine as well, but I started that one under my previous e-mail address. Is there a way for me to link my two accounts so I can have all three blogs under one login ID?

We can definitely move faithvsfear.wordpress.com to another account. Could you confirm the user that you would like to move this blog to? If you reply back with the username, I can move the blog for you.
It looks like you’re in touch with us through email. I’m going to respond back there!

Hi. I changed the following on in my blog settings and now I am locked out and I see that my blog is gone. Can you help?
The “Site Address (URL)” setting is the address you want people to type in their browser to reach your WordPress blog.
The “WordPress Address (URL)” setting is the address where your WordPress core files reside. -
My blog files reside on the WordPress server so aren’t they relocated when these settings change?
