Domain Downgrade Website No Longer Works

    Hello, I created a website last night and paid for a domain. This morning, I cancelled the paid domain so that my site should revert to https://myname.wordpress.com. However, I keep receiving the following error when viewing my site: ‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.’

    What can I do to fix this? Thanks!

    Hi –

    Here’s what I can see.

    paulniekamp.wordpress.com works properly in my browser, there are not any errors. paulniekamp.com was registered and then cancelled, it’s not currently connected to paulniekamp.wordpress.com.

    Is this what you were trying to achieve? Or do you need help restoring paulniekamp.com?

    Thanks for the response. I Just had to erase my cookies to solve the problem on the WordPress site (website builder to live mode).
